Did all of you miss me? I really haven't been doing much other than growing, harvesting and yelling at my vegetables in the ground. However this weekend something momentous occurred. One of my trees actually produced fruit!! I was so excited I almost jumped out of my chair and started dancing. It so happens that I have a cupcake tree and a coconut tree in my front garden and the cupcake tree sprouted its fruit! Once your tree has grown after 3 days; every day after there is a *random* chance that it will sprout fruit. I've talked to some people and I've been told that some people have trees that produce right away and some that takes a week. My cupcake tree is somewhere in the middle. I'm going to leave my cupcake on the tree because I think its so cute, and I will just make sure to pick the next one it sprouts. The trees can hold up to 3 fruits, after that, if you don't pick it, it doesn't sprout anymore fruit.
I've also been doing a bit of work on the back yard this past week. I wanted to make it look more European/American themed, something very Alice in Wonderland, with a BBQ grill. Ive had a bit of bad luck in my trees, It's taken me the whole week of growing trees and pulling them if they grow into a banana or coconut tree, to finally achieve this look. Ive got an Orange tree at either end of the garden, 1 cupcake tree, and 1 unknown tree growing. I'm going to hope for an Apple tree so if its anything else I am going to have to pull it and....you guessed it...start over. Once all the trees are grown in I'm going to carefully add in some toadstools and mushrooms from the furniture shop.
